The remotest place to go?
This blog is about a trip on the bark "Europa", a three mast sailing ship, to Antarctica between 19.12.2007 and 9.1.2008.
It is not a cruise - it is also not an expedition. It is an experience.
And it is definitely not like the quote of Samuel Johnson in "Mischief in Patagonia" of H.Tilman describing a trip on one of the old "tall ships":
"In a prison you have more space, better food and in general better company....."
